Prime Minister Nader Dahabi on Sunday
26/10/2008 met with Mrs. Jocelyne Bourgon, president emeritus of the
Canada School of Public Service and head of the UN Committee of Experts
on Public Administration, who was invited by King Abdullah II Center for
Excellence (KACE) to benefit from the Canadian experience in developing
the public sector performance in Jordan. The meeting was attended by the
Minister of Public Sector Reform Mr. Maher Madadha and the Executive
Director of KACE, Mrs. Yasera Ghosheh.
During the meeting both sides discussed
bilateral ties and means to enhance joint cooperation in several fields.
Dahabi stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and hosting
Canadian experts in Jordan to benefit from their experience, expressing
hope that this visit will be the starting point for future cooperation
with the Canada School of Public Service. He said developing Jordan's
public sector needs time, adding that it tops the priorities of the
ongoing reform process.
