♦ The Award Objectives
In May 2006, the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence launched an award for business associations referred to as the “King Abdullah II Award for Excellence” for Business Associations. In 2013 the Center widened the scope of the Award to cover the not-for-profit organizations. The Award is the highest level of recognition for business associations and not-for-profit organizations in Jordan. The Award was established to set standards for business associations and not-for-profit organizations based on international best practices. The Award provides a strong incentive for them to continually improve to serve their members, as well as the public and private sectors.
The Center started applying the EFQM Excellence Model 2013.
